Cookies and trackers charter
- What is a Cookie?
Cookies are small sets of information that are placed on a User's terminal by the server of the website visited by the User and/or by a third party server. Depending on their type, they may serve different purposes: cookies that enable the website to function, cookies that make it possible to analyse the Internet user's behaviour, advertising cookies, social network cookies, etc. Only the sender of the cookie can read it.
A cookie therefore records information relating to the User's browsing history on a website.
The Monaco Santé Portal and the mobile application only use technical cookies that are strictly necessary for browsing, in addition to audience measurement cookies, which are exempt from consent, as they enable totally anonymous statistical data to be generated.
There are various types of cookies:
- Technical cookies: these are cookies used to identify the services and sections that the User has visited on a website, to facilitate navigation on the website, to personalise services and content, and to enable Users to benefit from certain features. They do not require the consent of the user;
These cookies are exclusively intended to carry out or facilitate the transmission of a communication via an electronic communications network. They are strictly necessary for the provision of a service that is expressly requested by the subscriber or user: his/her access to and navigation on the website;
Technical cookies are essential for navigation. They remain on the terminal only for the duration of connection.
- Audience measurement cookies: these cookies make it possible to analyse traffic on a website (e.g. number of times a page is viewed, the time spent on each page, the number of clicks, screen resolution, preferred language, website(s) visited, time stamps on pages visited, etc.), to enable certain services to function and measure the audience for services;
As concerns cookies placed by the Monaco Santé Portal, the statistics are anonymous (i.e. they do not allow a person to be traced; the IP address of the Internet user is anonymised).
- Third party cookies: certain pages of the Monaco Santé Portal and the mobile application display content from third party websites. In order to view this content, the User must click on a link, sticker or share button, which will take him/her to the third party website. This website may place cookies that are subject to the data protection policy of the respective website. In this case, the User must accept these particular conditions. The Administration has no control over this cookie policy and cannot be held responsible.
When you visit the Administration's Monaco Santé Portal or the mobile application, you are asked to accept or decline setting the parameters of the cookies before continuing your navigation.
