The Accident and Emergency Service is located on the ground floor of the Princesse Charlotte Wing.

AREAS OF ACTIVITY:

The Accident and Emergency Service is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year.
It has all of the equipment required to provide full intensive care.

The UHCD (Unité d'Hospitalisation de Courte Durée) admits patients who have come through the Accident and Emergency Service and whose condition requires 24-hour monitoring prior to outpatient treatment or standard hospital admission.

The SMUR (Service Mobile d'Urgence et de Réanimation) is located within the Accident and Emergency Service and works in close collaboration with the Monaco Fire and Emergency Service. Its role is to provide medical treatment to patients in life-threatening situations outside the hospital.
