Dr Sylvain CHASTANET

Dr CHASTANET offers consultations on all issues relating to veins. He uses venous doppler ultrasound as well as all types of varicose vein treatment (selective varicose vein ablation under local anaesthesia (ASVAL), phlebectomy, endovenous techniques, laser treatment, radiofrequency ablation, etc.).

All varicose vein treatments are offered on an outpatient basis (patients can leave 1 hour after treatment) under local anaesthetic.

Dr CHASTANET is an internationally recognised expert in the treatment of varicose veins. Together with Dr PITTALUGA, he developed the ASVAL method, which he has promoted since 2003.

He has published more than 50 scientific papers in international journals and given more than 450 lectures throughout the world. Emeritus Professor – Universidad de San Salvador – Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 2011.
