Consultations de Traumatologie (CHPG)

The Traumatology Consultations Service is located in the Princesse Charlotte Building – ground floor.

Traumatology is the branch of medicine dedicated to physical injuries: impacts, wounds or shocks that occur suddenly and violently. Traumatology is linked to orthopaedic and traumatology surgery because serious injuries require surgery. It may also be linked to the accident and emergency unit, since many patients who have suffered injuries enter the hospital by this route.

Traumatology surgery consultations are held on the ground floor of the Princess Charlotte pavilion, opposite Accident and Emergency. Surgery may involve a conventional hospital stay, or may be conducted on an outpatient basis (on the 2nd floor).
