Chirurgie Orthopédique (IM2S)

The Institut Monégasque de Médecine et Chirurgie Sportive (Institute of Sports Medicine and Surgery - IM2S) is a medical and surgical orthopaedic clinic in Monaco, financed via the T2A activity-based payment model, which specialises in the treatment of musculoskeletal, articular and sports injuries.

IM2S is organised by surgical subspecialty (Foot/Ankle, Knee, Hip, Shoulder, Hand/Wrist, Spine, Paediatric Orthopaedics) and medical subspecialty (emergency trauma, sports trauma, osteopathy).
Most procedures are carried out on an outpatient basis.

The techniques used – arthroscopy/minimally invasive surgery and enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) – are part of the optimal patient care provided.

The Institute also offer selective varicose vein ablation under local anaesthesia (ASVAL).
